भारत की महिला क्रिकेट टीम इस समय साउथ अफ्रीका में वर्ल्ड कप खेल रही हैं। अब तक उनका प्रदर्शन बेहद शानदार रहा हैं। उन्होंने ग्रुप स्टेज के दौरान खेले 4 मैचों में 3 जीत दर्ज की हैं। सोमवार को उन्होंने आयरलैंड को 5 रन से हराकर सेमीफाइनल में अपनी जगह पक्की कर ली।
वर्ल्ड कप सेमीफाइनल में पहुंची भारतीय टीम
भारतीय टीम ने ग्रुप स्टेज में अपना अंतिम गेम आयरलैंड के खिलाफ खेला। इस मैच में पहले बल्लेबाजी करते हुए भारतीय टीम ने 155 रन बनाए। इस दौरान स्मृति मंधाना ने 87 रनों की महत्वपूर्ण पारी खेली। इस लक्ष्य का पीछा करते हुए आयरलैंड की टीम 8.2 ओवर में सिर्फ 54 रन बना सकी और बारिश ने मैच के रोक दिया।
इसके बाद भारतीय टीम को डकवर्थ लुईस नियम के तहत 5 रन से विजयी घोषित कर दिया गया। इस जीत के साथ भी भारतीय टीम सेमीफाइनल में पहुँच गयी। इस मैच के बाद भारतीय क्रिकेट फैंस ने भारतीय महिला टीम पर जमकर प्यार लुटाया।
